Optional Modifiers
As each image is processed by the data analysis, modifier strings are appended
to the basic file name to distinguish each stage in the process while still
conveying the file's origin in a particular image. These modifiers are
summarized in Table A.2, and the details are explained in the
description of the analysis software in Chapter 8.
